Habit School Terms of Use
Effective date: August 15, 2026
Article 1. Purpose
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the provider of Habit School (the “Service”) and its users.
Article 2. What the Service provides
Habit School provides the following health habit management features.
- Photo-based logging of meals, exercise, and sleep
- AI analysis of meals and exercise, and of blood test results
- Recording and tracking of health metrics such as blood pressure, blood glucose, weight, and body composition
- Sharing health records with other users through the gallery, plus friends and groups
- Weekly missions and challenges
- Habit points and HBT token rewards
- Redeeming points for mobile coupons
Article 3. Registration and eligibility
- Signing in with a Google account is required to use the Service.
- Only people aged 14 or older may register. We confirm that the user is 14 or older at sign-up, and if we learn that a user is under 14 we delete the account and the personal information collected without delay.
- Users must provide accurate information and must not misappropriate another person’s information.
- Registration requires agreement to these Terms and to the collection and use of personal information. Consent to health data (sensitive information) is optional; declining it still allows registration, and only the blood test and body composition features become unavailable.
Article 4. User obligations
Users must not do any of the following.
- Collect, store, or disclose another person’s personal information
- Upload obscene, violent, or unlawful content
- Defame, insult, or threaten others
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Service
- Access the Service by automated means
- Spread false health information
- Obtain points or tokens by improper means
Article 5. Content
- Copyright in content posted by a user (photos, comments, and so on) belongs to that user.
- Records a user shares to the gallery are visible to other users. Users set the visibility of each record themselves and may choose to appear under a nickname.
- The provider may remove content or restrict access to it in the following cases.
- Another user has reported it
- It violates these Terms or applicable law
- It is contrary to public order and morals
- Users may report inappropriate content in the gallery; the provider reviews reported content and takes action.
Article 6. Points and HBT tokens
- Habit points and HBT tokens are reward instruments usable only within the Service.
- HBT tokens are not legal tender and carry no guaranteed monetary value.
- HBT tokens are not an investment product, and no increase in value is guaranteed.
- The provider may change point and token policies after prior notice.
- Where points or tokens are obtained by improper means, the provider may reclaim them or restrict the account.
Article 7. Blockchain wallet and private key
- The Service creates a blockchain wallet for the user and stores its private key in encrypted form.
- Deleting your account erases that encrypted private key, after which the tokens in the wallet can no longer be accessed. Please export your private key using the wallet export feature and store it separately before deleting your account.
- Once exported, safekeeping of the private key is the user’s responsibility. The provider cannot recover a private key that a user loses or discloses to someone else.
- Transactions recorded on the blockchain cannot be deleted or reversed. This is a property of public blockchains; the wallet address and its transaction history remain on the blockchain after account deletion.
Article 8. Redeeming points for coupons
- Users may redeem accumulated points for mobile coupons.
- To deliver the coupon, the mobile phone number entered by the user is passed to a coupon delivery agency. See section 3 of the Privacy Policy for details.
- The validity period, accepting merchants, and conditions of use of each coupon are governed by the policy of the company that issued it.
- Points spent on a completed redemption are not refundable as a rule. Where a coupon fails to be delivered because of an error on our side, the points are restored.
- If a coupon does not arrive, a re-delivery can be requested from the coupon box in the app.
Article 9. Restrictions on use
The provider may restrict a user’s access to the Service in the following cases.
- Violation of these Terms
- Conduct that harms other users
- Conduct that disrupts the operation of the Service
Article 10. Disclaimers
- The Service’s AI analysis (meals, exercise, blood tests, and so on) is for reference only and does not replace medical diagnosis or prescription.
- Health-related decisions should be made only after consulting a medical professional.
- The provider is not responsible for disputes between users.
- The provider is not responsible for interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters or system failures.
Article 11. Account deletion
- Users may delete their account at any time from the Profile tab.
- Deleting an account permanently removes everything: records, photos, health information, gallery posts, the comments and reactions left on other users’ posts, and our copies of the blockchain transaction and point redemption records. None of it can be recovered, and the Service keeps no personal information after deletion.
- Loss of access to the wallet private key on account deletion is governed by Article 7.
Article 12. Changes to these Terms
The provider may amend these Terms where necessary, and will announce the amended Terms and their effective date within the app. For changes unfavourable to users, at least 30 days’ notice is given before the effective date. A user who does not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the Service and delete their account.
Article 13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes arising from use of the Service are brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
